Faced with the injury of star striker Josef Martinez, Atlanta United announced the arrival of Mexico international Erick Torres.

While the MLS wants to resume its regular season in August and end in December, Atlanta United is in the midst of construction. After parting ways with coach Frank de Boer last week, the Georgia state club are in the process of rebuilding their offense.
