With 14 players, the Special Violets made their way to the Salzkammergut on June 6th to prepare for the new season with over 80 other footballers with disabilities.
The training camp was particularly valuable for the young and handicapped violets, as there was an opportunity to socialize with many other people and to work in a group. On the other hand, being away from home for a week also brings with it a certain degree of independence.
“For us as a coaching team, not only is the sporting development an important aspect, but also issues such as social skills and independence are very important components in our work with the players. It was a great week, thanks to all the athletes and our cooperation partner ÖBSV for the organization.” , according to coaches Leo Vasile.
