Nelo Vingada, coach of the Egyptian Football Association, denied the request of Carlos Queiroz, coach of the Egyptian national team, for Essam El-Hadary to leave his apparatus.

Vingada said on Al-Hayat channel: “No, it is not baseless, we live with rumors and we do not have to pay attention to these matters.”

He added, “Mohamed El-Shennawy’s injury occurred during the match and he was injured like many, and I hope that he will recover in the coming period.”

“I’ve worked with Queiroz for 15 years and the main mark he leaves in the players is organization, confidence and calmness on the pitch,” he added.

He praised Omar Marmoush’s brilliance, saying: “Fortunately, it was an excellent choice for Queiroz and a surprise to some.”

Marmoush scored a goal and created another in the first two international matches with the Egyptian national team.

He concluded about the possibility of holding the reserve league: “We will not hold the reserve league for the new season, but rather the interest in holding the youth league competition, born in 2001, because it is the generation of the Olympic team to compete for participation in the 2024 Olympics, which will be the nucleus of the Egyptian team in the future.”
