The first event of the hero seasonSeason 10 of Pokémon GOis celebrated this week, for the second year: the festival of colors.
This is the second time that the Festival of Colors in Pokémon GO, a week-long event that anticipates the arrival of spring with more frequent appearances by colorful Pokémon from all regions.
On this occasion, the most special thing is the debut of two new Pokémon in the Niantic game: Mega-Medicham y Bruxish. The former will appear in Mega Raids, and the latter will appear in the wild.

The festival starts on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at 10:00 and ends the March 14 2023 at 20:00 local time.
For almost an entire week, there will be active bonuses, a collection challenge, and research tasks inspired by the event, which we break down below. First, let’s look at the active bonuses throughout the event:
- Bait Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Friendship levels will increase twice as fast
- you can find a Smeargle variocolor when taking snapshots (Smeargle can appear whenever you take photos, but only in the event it will appear shiny)
