Unfortunately, Google is not yet launching the latest March update for Android 13 including Pixel Feature Drop for us. Instead, a fresh Google Play system update is being delivered. It’s the version from February 2023, but it doesn’t bring much with it.
Most of the changes in the Google System Updates from February 2023 have already been distributed via the Play Store and Play services, only two points are coming to our Pixel smartphones via the Google Play system update. To that extent we the changelog believe, these are the following points:
- [Telefon] Bug fixes for system management and diagnostics and service-related services.
- Updates to systems management services that improve device connectivity, network usage, security, stability, and updateability.
To check for new Google Play system updates: Open system settings, select “About phone”, then tap on “Android version” and select “Google Play system update” in the new menu. Here you can check for updates.
