FC Bayern – Rumor: Transfer target Konrad Laimer rejects contract extension at RB Leipzig

FC Bayern is apparently not finished after the previous transfers. Another reinforcement for the midfield in the person of Konrad Laimer could follow next.

The Austrian in the service of RB Leipzig has been traded with the Munich company for a long time. Now he reports kickerthat Laimer had informed RB that he would not be renewing his contract, which ran until 2023.

However, the magazine also reports that Laimer has not yet communicated a change request internally. Nevertheless, a departure now seems likely, since it is part of the club policy at RB Leipzig that players should not be given away for free, which would be the case with Laimer in the coming year without a new contract.

And Bavaria is said to have not yet made contact with the Saxons. However, the Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Munich are very interested in the 25-year-old. Of the kicker in turn, speculates that RB, which after the departure of coach Julian Nagelsmann, Dayot Upamecano and Marcel Sabitzer no longer wanted to sell to Munich last summer, could become weak with a fee of 25 to 30 million euros.

Laimer himself recently said that it was “quite possible” that “I won’t play in Leipzig next season”.

FC Bayern – News: Special jersey causes trouble among fans

On Saturday, FC Bayern surprised with a special jersey that combines the designs of the last ten championship jerseys. The catch: it was only offered for sale to the almost 300,000 club members. Demand was high and it was sold out in just a few hours.

So far, so simple. What followed, however, were offers on the secondary market on eBay, which almost as expected led to extortionate prices. There, bids for the special jersey were already over 700 euros on Sunday – it was originally sold at the usual jersey price of 89.95 euros (without flock and logos, which cost extra).

It is still unclear whether FC Bayern will react to this.
