Mario Lubetkin, representative in Latin America of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)arrived in Venezuela this Tuesday to hold a meeting with the administration of Nicolás Maduro.
It is expected that the issue of the projects that the organization develops in the country will be touched on the agenda.
via Twitter, The Chancellery of the Maduro administration reported on the arrival of the Uruguayan to the country.
Lubetkin was received at the Simón Bolívar International Airport by Alexis Bonte, the FAO representative in the country.
The meeting will review the 2023-2026 agenda and the projects between the partieswhich means a road map for a clear operation between FAO and Venezuela.
Lubetkin will be in Venezuela until Thursday and will meet with authorities from the ministries with which FAO has ongoing projectssuch as the Food and Education portfolios.
