Ezra Miller pleads not guilty in burglary case and faces up to 26 years in prison | behind the scenes

Ezra Miller denied theft in a burglary on Monday. The actor had to appear in court for the offence, which reportedly took place in May in the US state of Vermont.

Miller, who is suspected of burglary and theft, faces up to 26 years in prison if convicted on both charges, US media reports said. There is also a fine of 2,000 dollars (2,038 euros).

Thirty-year-old Miller appeared in court practically with their lawyer. During the trial, they agreed to a number of conditions. For example, Miller had to promise not to go near the house they broke into before. Miller also may not contact the resident of the home or any other Vermont resident.

Miller, who identifies as non-binary and prefers to be addressed as ‘they’ or ‘that’, has been discredited more often in recent years. For example, the actor was arrested twice in the state of Hawaii. They are also accused of abuse by several women worldwide.

In August, Miller announced that he had begun treatment for “complex mental health issues.” The actor also apologized for their disturbing behavior.

Miller to star in the superhero movie The flash, which is expected to be released in 2023. It is unknown if the lawsuit, arrests and allegations will affect the release of the film.
