The general councilors of the municipality of Gibloux validated Monday evening the income statement which shows a profit of 4.1 million out of a total of 39 million expenses.

“You have a satisfied finance manager in front of you!” Municipal councilor Jacques Crausaz presented the 2021 accounts to the General Council of Gibloux on Monday evening. It was the first financial year closed according to MCH2 (new accounting model), which may partly explain this exceptional result of 4.1 million profit on a total of 39 million charges.
“The health of the town is so good that we can consider a reduction in the tax ratio”, explains Jacques Crausaz. He promises to analyze the various financial planning tools and to propose a tax reduction for the 2023 budget.
