The extraditable José Rafael Sosa Méndez will be transferred to another prison, an execution judge determined, the defense lawyer of Sosa Méndez reported this Wednesday, Manfredo Ruiz placeholder image.

Sosa Méndez is being held in the maximum security prison of Morocelí, also known as the “Tolva”. The judge would have determined that he be referred to the First Infantry Battalion, in Francisco Morazán.

Ruiz stressed that the authorities of the National Penitentiary Institute (INP) must comply with the determination within eight days.

He also mentioned that the INP it has refused, on two other occasions, to comply with related mandates issued by natural judges.
