Expiry of waiting lists and emergencies in the cardiac catheterization unit in El Arish Hospital

The Health Directorate in North Sinai announced that the waiting lists and emergency cases in the cardiac catheterization unit at El Arish General Hospital have been completed.

Dr. Tariq Mohammed, Undersecretary of the Ministry, said that the cardiac catheterization unit conducts cardiac catheterization diagnostic and therapeutic operations, and witnessed a series of successes in the conduct of operations.

He added: “We are coordinating with Canal cities to receive cases of waiting lists, which is an achievement for the cardiac catheterization unit in Al-Arish Hospital, in cooperation with the medical team assigned by the National Heart Institute, under the leadership and supervision of Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health, and Dr. Mohamed Osama, Director Heart Institute, Governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha ».

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Mansour, director of the hospital, to continue the arrival of medical teams from the Heart Institute to the hospital weekly to do the examination of patients and perform surgeries, according to the protocol of cooperation signed between the Directorate of Health and the National Heart Institute.

In turn, Fathi Othman, director of the health education and information office in the directorate, said that there is a cooperation protocol between the directorate and the Heart Institute to operate the cardiac catheterization unit in Al-Arish General Hospital, and conduct surgical operations and medical examination through the Institute's doctors.
