Cardiovascular diseases can have dangerous consequences. But with endurance sports, a healthy diet and abstinence from the glowing stick, you can prevent it.

Esslingen – According to Matthias Leschke, cardiovascular diseases are among the most common causes of death in Germany. Leschke is the chief physician in the Clinic for Cardiology, Angiology and Pneumology at the Esslingen Clinic and is familiar with the subject. Every day he deals with people who suffer from coronary heart disease, the consequences of a stroke or a heart attack. Although there are now much better therapeutic options than in previous years, says Leschke. But because more and more people survived a heart attack, one sees more and more patients with a heart failure. It is very important for them to avoid a second incident of this kind. With a change in lifestyle, you could definitely reduce the risk of this. But even those who are not yet affected can, according to Leschke, prevent cardiovascular disease by following certain rules of conduct.
