One person died and another was injured due to the collapse of an elevator in the Plaza Gran Sur, located in the Coyoacán mayor’s office, Mexico City Firefighters reported through their social networks.
The elements reported this incident and detailed that the injured person is already being treated by paramedics.
The firefighters delimited the area in coordination with the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office. There was a police mobilization at the site, elements of the Red Cross and the Rescue and Medical Emergency Squadron (ERUM).
According to information from Foro TV, some witnesses heard a roar as the elevator collapsed and then the mobilization of emergency services began.
