The Vice Chancellor of the Republic, Adriana Mira, met with the Secretary of State for Foreign Business and Cooperation, Francisco André, to strengthen the ties of friendship, business and cooperation that El Salvador maintains with Portugal.
Both representatives reiterated the interest in expanding the bilateral relationship, through further deepening ties, in key areas such as: South-South and Triangular Cooperation, projects for sustainable development, use of the oceans and the coastal zone.
Also, in economic matters, officials were in favor of increasing trade and investments.
This arises from the advantages provided by the current Association Agreement between El Salvador and the European Union for the facilitation of business.
