On Saturday around noon, the grandfather picks up six-year-old Eitan Biran from his aunt Aya Biran in Pavia, allegedly to buy him a toy. Eitan does not return in the evening. The woman who has custody of the boy receives this message on her mobile phone: “The child is at home.” The news comes from Israel. The grandfather, Shmuel Peleg, took the boy across the Swiss border to Lugano Airport, from there it went on by private plane to Tel Aviv.
