Edomex: 9-year-old children will be vaccinated against COVID in 102 municipalities

From Thursday, July 28 to Friday, August 5, children 9 years of age or older or who meet them during the remainder of the year 2022 will be vaccinated against the COVID-19 in 102 municipalities of the State of Mexico.

What must children present to be vaccinated?

The vaccine may only be received in their municipality of residence, presenting CURP or birth certificate, proof of address and the printed file with QR code from the website

Minors must be accompanied by a person over 18 years of age, preferably their mother, father or guardian, at a time from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to the corresponding schedule.

Municipalities: Amatepec, Luvians, St. Simon the Warrior, Temascaltepec, Tlatlaya, Ocuilan, Atenco, Chiconcuac and Tezoyuca.

Municipalities: Almoloya del Río, Atizapán, Calimaya, Capulhuac, Chapultepec, Joquicingo, Mexicaltzingo, Rayón, San Antonio la Isla, Tenango del Valle, Texcalyacac, Tianguistenco, Xalatlaco, Tejupilco, Coatepec Harinas, Villa Guerrero and Zacualpan.

Municipalities: Lerma, Ocoyoacac, Otzolotepec, San Mateo Atenco, Malinalco, Texcaltitlán, Tonatico, Zumpahuacán, Chiautla, Papalotla and Tepetlaoxtoc.

Municipalities: Almoloya of Juarez, Zinacantepec, Ixtapan of the Gold, Otzoloapan, St. Thomas, Zacazonapan and La Paz.

Municipalities: Coacalco, Chalco, Ixtapaluca and Valle de Chalco

Minors must come with breakfast and, if undergoing any treatment, take their medications on time.

The authorities ask the Mexicans of the remaining municipalities to be attentive to the dates on which they will be vaccinated in their localities, which will be announced only through official means.

The population must continue with preventive health measures, even after having been vaccinated, such as the correct use of face masks, masks and/or goggles, frequent hand washing and keeping a healthy distance.
