DxOMark has published its review of the cameras of the OnePlus 10 Pro and seems to agree with most reviews out there. The bottom line is that the smartphone has some significant issues that prevent it from keeping up with its competition. As a result, the 10 Pro only ranks 27th in DxOMark’s ranking, right behind the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Mi 11 Pro, Vivo X60 Pro+ and Apple iPhone 12 Pro. All former flagships with at least a year under their belts.
The most notable drawbacks pointed out by DxOMark are color artifacts with a pink cast, especially in low light, ghosting and fusion artifacts. Subpar ultrawide camera performance, white balance issues in low light, and lack of detail in videos in good light are also mentioned.
However, that doesn’t mean the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t have some advantages as well. For example, the testers found that the dynamic range was excellent during the day and indoors, as was the level of detail. Noise was rarely an issue and the telecamera did a good job. In addition, the low-light videos revealed a fair amount of fine detail.
