‘The Rock’ criticized Diesel for making a public invitation on social networks after the two had reached an agreement in private.
The American actor Dwayne Johnson, better known as ‘The Rock’, has publicly rejected the request of the star of the series ‘Fast & Furious’ Vin Diesel to rejoin the action franchise for its next 10th installment.
In an interview with CNN on Thursday, Johnson responded to the invitation by criticizing Diesel for making it public on social media after the two had reached a private agreement.
“I told [a Diesel] directly that I would not return to the franchise. I was firm but cordial with my words and said that I would always support the cast and that I would always encourage the success of the franchise, but that there is no chance that I will return, “explained ‘The Rock’.
Likewise, the actor called Diesel’s public invitation an “example of his manipulation”. “I did not like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as the death of Paul Walker. Leave them out of this. We had talked about this months ago and came to a clear understanding,” added Johnson.
