‘Drive-Thru’ of the School of Medicine stopped providing services

Torreón, Coahuila.- Given the decrease in Covid-19 tests in the Drive-Thru of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, the services of this place were stopped, confirmed Dr. Salvador Chavarría Vázquez.

He explained that it was in the months of May, June and July where the highest number of tests were registered, being up to 300 daily, but after those months the decrease came and now the transmission of infections is below one.

“I think that right now the transmission of infections is below one and that is good.”

He pointed out that saying it is below one means that the infected person cannot spread the disease to another person. When it is above one it is massive and dangerous.

“The contagion curve decreases when those who carry it are no longer so many, but that does not mean that we must lower our guard, because there is still no vaccine and that forces us to continue taking all due precautions,” he concluded.
