Here, it’s avenue Gambetta, just at the entrance to La Traverse, in the heart of Sarlat. The establishment has been open since June 3. “We got the keys on the 2nd and we opened the 3rd”, laughs the boss. Already present in Périgueux, the brand does not intend to copy and paste what is done in white Périgord. “We rely as much as possible on local producerspresents Jennifer Oliver. The meat comes from the butcher opposite, the artisanlae beer is from Sarlat, even if we also offer BAM, from Marsac. »

Of the two restaurants, she reigns supreme, her husband, he manages Wiki Burger, in Périgueux, which he bought three months ago.

Truffle sausage

On the menu therefore, baggels, but also burgers, charcuterie or cheese boards and salads. Without forgetting hot dogs or truffle sausage. “I absolutely wantedexplains the boss. I managed to convince the butcher to make some. »

Of course, take-out formulas are possible. On the spot, Jennifer relies on Anouar Hennouni, her right arm. “He has worked with me for four years and became manager last year”, she presents. In all, the establishment has 28 seats. Out of season, it is only open for lunch on weekdays. Except in exceptional cases, such as the music festival.

As for the location, the restorer juge “ideal. Everyone came to introduce themselves, we were really well received by the people of Sarlad ». As for future projects, Jennifer admits that she has in the back of her mind the idea of ​​developing her restaurants, even if it means creating a franchise in the future. “But we will first see how the season goes”she smiles.
