While two children are still actively sought in Idaho, new elements highlight the troubled role of their stepfather, remarried to their mother just two weeks after the death of his wife.
Authorities are still without news of Joshua and Tylee. The 7-year-old boy and the 17-year-old teenager have been missing since September. While relatives fear that their mother has joined a religious sect called “Preparing a People” with her new husband, the portrait of this man is slowly emerging. Lori Vallow, married Chad Daybell after losing his wife two weeks earlier.
Tammy Daybell died in circumstances which remain to be clarified, her body was exhumed in early December. His death is all the more disturbing as Chad Daybell, in writings intended for Mormon readers, would have announced the death of his wife, like “a prophecy”, indicates the “Daily Beast”. He would have even confided to a friend, Julie Rowe, to have had visions “on the death of his wife”: “The angels told him that he was going to lose Tammy”. Julie Rowe, herself a member of this religious group, has also claimed to use her own visions to send messages to Chad Daybell. She assures us that the two children are well: “I can see their energy and I know that they are in a bright house”.
Other strange deaths
Lori Vallow’s husband also recently died. In July, he was shot and killed by his brother who had claimed to be in self-defense. The latter passed away some time later.
Since the report of the disappearance of the two children, Lori Vallox and Chad Daybell have continued to lie to the police about the location of the children considered to be in great danger. Interviewed by Fox News, Brandon Boudreaux, married to Lori Vallow’s niece, then let it be known that it was possible that the family had joined a sect. According to him, Chad Daybell has long been an active member of the radical religious group affiliated with Mormons and whose major concern is the end of the world.
