The attack caused no casualties, according to the governor. Ukrainian forces shot down 17 Russian drones in southern Ukraine’s Odessa region and buildings were damaged in the port city district of Izmail, the local governor announced on Monday (September 4th). A bomb threat in all schools in kyiv was also issued in the morning. Follow our live.

A strategic site targeted by the Russians. The river port of Izmail has become one of the main exit routes for Ukrainian agricultural products since Moscow ended the agreement on grain exports in July.

Moscow destroys four Ukrainian launches on the Black Sea. In the night from Sunday to Monday, “in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, (…) the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed four American-made military speedboats (carrying) landing parties of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine”said the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

A Ukrainian drone also destroyed near Crimea.Moscow said it shot down a Ukrainian drone off the annexed Crimean peninsula on Monday, as well as a second aircraft in the Russian region of Kursk, bordering Ukraine. Drone attacks on Russian territory and the Crimean peninsula, annexed by Moscow in 2014, have increased in recent weeks.
