The rain in Madrid continues to cause havoc with cuts in the Metro, collapsed bridges and isolated municipalities

The Aemet maintains the orange alert in the Community of Madrid, Toledo and Ávila. The heaviest rains in the capital have occurred during the early morning. Aldea del Fresno has been isolated due to the rise of the Alberche River, which has swept away various bridges.
Other Madrid municipalities affected are Villa Del Prado, Villamanta, Villamantilla, Villanueva de Perales, Navalcarnero and El Álamo. Part of the evacuees are sheltering in the Villamanta civic center and are requesting help through social networks.
In the Atocha station lives another drama. Hundreds of passengers who have not been able to board their trains to Andalusia have been left stranded. They have been joined by passengers who, after several hours of waiting in the convoys, have gradually arrived in the capital from different cities in the south of the peninsula. At 7:00 a.m. this Monday, Adif has reported that high-speed connections Madrid-Andalusia and Madrid-Toledo have been suspended again.
