Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Environment Urbanism and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum went to Elazig to examine the TOKİ houses built after the 6.8 earthquake that occurred in Elazig in 2020.
According to the news of Evren Demirdaş from Sözcü, in response to the earthquake victim’s complaint to the Mayor of Elazig, Şahin Şerifoğulları, from AKP, that the shower cabin is small, during their visit to TOKİ residences, Şerifoğulları’s statement, “Did you have a shower cabin in your previous house?” CHP Elazig Provincial Chairman Coşkun Çağlar reacted to the response and called for an apology from the earthquake victim.
DEFENDED, SAYING “ORIAN CUNNING”
Responding to CHP Elazig Provincial Chair Coşkun Çağlar Duran’s call to apologize to the earthquake victims, the mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları made the following statement in brief:
- “The fact that the CHP provincial staff, who know us closely, emphasize our sincerity at every opportunity, and appreciate our work in private environments, open our sincerity to discussion in front of the public cannot be explained simply as inconsistency. This attitude of the CHP Provincial Presidency is literally oriental cunning.
- This is exactly the CHP mentality. In the statement made by the CHP Provincial Presidency, it was claimed that we are the boss and we despise our citizens, based on our very sincere and natural dialogue with a sister. We have never despised or despised any of our citizens. No one, including themselves, can show a single example to the contrary. If the CHP Provincial Presidency wants to see someone who looks down on their citizens, they should turn and look at the CHP.”
