DeLorean introduces the Alpha 5, an electric car inspired by the DMC-12 from “Back to the Future”

DeLorean revives the mythical DMC-12 that made Marty McFly happy in Back to the future. Forty years after the first year of production of the “Doc” car, the American brand presented the Alpha 5. It is a long sedan that takes up some elements of the iconic racing car of the 1980s, reports BFMTV .

The vehicle is 100% electric. Equipped with a 100kWh battery, it can provide a range of 300 miles (480 km) according to the manufacturer. The sedan is five meters long, 2.04 meters wide and barely 1.37 meters high, which gives it the look of a coupé. It has four seats.
