Decision in FETO’s cassette conspiracy case – Last Minute Turkey News

The verdict has been announced in the case where former CHP Chairman Deniz Baykal and Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) ringleader Fetullah Gülen are among the defendants regarding the publication of images regarding the private lives of some former MHP executives on the internet.

The defendants and the lawyers of the parties attended the hearing held by the Ankara 14th High Criminal Court in the hall in the Sincan Penal and Execution Institutions Campus.

Announcing the verdict after the last words of the defendants were heard, the court board sentenced 120 defendants to prison terms ranging from 6 years, 3 months to 92 years and 10 months.

In the case, the defendants Sedat Zavar was sentenced to 92 years and 10 months, İlker Usta 81 years and Gürsel Aktepe 72 years and 3 months in prison. Yener Dönmez was sentenced to 21 years and Fatih Ünel was sentenced to 13 years in prison for his actions against Baykal.
