Crosby suffered an upper body injury at 2-0 with the Rangers. Pittsburgh lost 3-5 – Ice Hockey

Forward “Pittsburgh” Sidney Crosby did not finish the match of the 1st round of the Stanley Cup with the “Rangers” (3:5, 3-2 in the series).

The Canadian left the ice in the 35th minute due to an upper body injury with the score 2-0 in favor of the Penguins.

In the middle of the 2nd period, Crosby was hit by a power grab from Rangers defenseman Jake Truba, got off the ice and immediately went to the bench. The striker spent two more shifts on the court before finally leaving the game.

Crosby is Pittsburgh’s all-time leading scorer in this playoff with 9 (2+7) points in 5 games.
