This is an alarming finding for patients affected by the coronavirus: according to two German studies published Monday in the specialist journal JAMA Cardiology, Covid-19 could portend heart failure in many patients believed to be “cured”.

Nearly 75% of people infected with Covid-19 thus have sequelae in the heart, including for patients who have only contracted a mild form of the disease, according to one of the documents.
