An event that went completely unnoticed, while beIN Sports, official broadcaster of the competition, had already made the antenna on the side of the Roger-Serzian stadium. This Sunday afternoon, ASM Belfort received FC Annecy in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. A meeting that ended in a draw (1-1) after the achievements of Dramane Sissoko (10th) for the locals and Ibrahima Baldé (56th) for the professional club. If the latter finally won during the penalty shootout with the score of four goals to three, a scuffle tainted Annecy’s qualification.

Indeed, after the penalty shootout, a fight broke out between Lucas Cuenin (ASMB) and Bissenty Mendy (FCA). The two central defenders were obviously expelled by the referee of the meeting, while the second name mentioned, did not play a minute during this meeting. One of the two players would have hit the other from behind at the end of the game, while the end of the match was more than electric, escaping the control of Bastien Dechepy. Case to follow therefore between the two clubs. Note that Laurent Guyot castigated this behavior in a post-match press conference, the first versions pointing the finger at the behavior of his players with in particular Alexy Bosetti who would have chambered the last Belfort shooter who had just missed his shot on goal.
