In the Czech Republic, the booster of the coronavirus vaccination with the third dose will officially begin next Monday. Eight people who received the second injection exactly eight months ago are already entitled to this on Wednesday. On Monday, September 20, there will be almost 8,000, and by the end of the year up to a million people can be re-vaccinated. This emerges from the vaccination data published by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
So far, more than six million people in this country have received the vaccine. In less than eight months after completing the primary vaccination of one dose (Johnson & Johnson) or two doses, selected patients can receive a booster dose in an emergency. This is possible, for example, for people who have had a transplant.
