Corona positive despite booster – weekly newspaper

Asunción: The number of people infected with Covid has been increasing for a few weeks, especially due to the severe cold. Apparently, despite great care and vaccinations, the virus keeps knocking down immunized people. Sick despite vaccination?

This is the case of the TV announcer and presenter Florencia Gismondi, who complained on social networks because she recently tested positive for Covid-19, despite paying a lot of attention, always using the mask and having her 3 doses against this virus.

“I wear a mask, I wash my hands, I have the two primary vaccinations and one booster shot, but I’ve just tested positive for Covid-19 and have some symptoms. Take care, I don’t know when I stopped taking care of myself, but obviously I did,” Gismondi posted on social media, who claimed to have contracted the virus for the first time since the pandemic began .

“I tested negative for influenza. I did a test for 5 viruses and only got a positive result for Covid-19,” she added, also reporting on the symptoms she is suffering from: “Body aches, high fever, cough with a cold, nausea, throat and earache”.

Gimsondi, like countless media figures, had celebrated with great fanfare the fact that she had received her first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine and encouraged all TV viewers to follow her. She even allowed herself to be photographed being vaccinated. The Ministry of Health also used the photo to motivate citizens to immunize against the corona virus.
