“Cookie banner madness”: Data protectionists submit hundreds of GDPR complaints – monitoring

The Austrian data protection officer Max Schrems fights with his NGO Noyb against misleading cookie banners. The reason for this: Many websites try to use dirty tricks to get users to agree to the tracking. According to the activists, this violates the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
