In an accident with a long-distance bus on the A1 in Schleswig-Holstein at least 32 people have been injured. The vehicle was driven against the guardrail and overturned.
A coach crashed on Saturday morning on Highway 1 near Hamburg. The number of injured rose on Saturday to 32. The people were all slightly injured, said a police spokesman. Initially, several serious injuries had been reported, but this was not confirmed. The coach from Poland had 48 people on board, previously was talking of 50 passengers.
The vehicle had strayed from the road in the accident near Barsbüttel initially unknown cause, collided with the guard rail and tilted to the side. The highway was temporarily closed in the direction of Hamburg for rescue and clean-up work at times. Initially, a speaker could not give details of the start and finish of the journey.
