Clearly noticeable earthquake in Tyrol

The slight earthquake occurred northeast of Innsbruck. People from Thaur and Rum clearly perceived shaking. No damage is known so far.

A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 2.0 occurred north-east of Innsbruck on Wednesday evening. According to reports from the population of Thaur and Rum, the relatively shallow tremors were clearly felt, and some people were frightened by it, said Geosphere Austria (Austrian Seismological Service). Damage to buildings is not known and not to be expected with this strength.
