Civil associations in the city of Al-Qasr Al-Kabir have drawn up a campaign program about the health situation in the city.
This program extends over a period of five weeks, with the start of its implementation starting from next week by opening a petition for signatures addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, after the Minister of Health neglected the demands of the population, and the drafting of a reminder letter to the Minister of Health with the demands of the population that relate to the health file,
The struggle program ends with a popular march to the royal court to put in place the popular petition that was opened with the intention of directing it to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory.
The aforementioned struggle program was underlined through the communication meeting of civil bodies held at the headquarters of the Moroccan Labor Union on Saturday evening, September 2nd, where the President of the Moroccan Association for Consumer Protection and Defense of Consumer Rights presided over this meeting and laid the ground for discussion aimed at diagnosing the health situation in the city and coming up with practical approaches in favor of improving the health situation and exit. The interventions that followed diagnosed the painful health situation and its negative repercussions on the general population, as if the health file in the city was destined to remain legitimate despite the establishment of a new hospital at a cost of 80 million dirhams!!!
The meeting resulted in the formation of an office whose tasks would be to ensure the implementation of the struggle agenda agreed upon.
It is known that on the 29th of last August, the birth of a new coordination of human rights associations was announced in the city of Qasr al-Kabir to demand an improvement in the patient’s condition inside Al-Qarb Hospital, with the aim of uniting the efforts of local human rights associations to put pressure on the responsible authorities in order to improve the situation of the hospital, which suffers from many problems, most notably Shortage of human resources and medical equipment.
