China: Government pronounces tattoo ban for footballers

The power apparatus in Beijing wants clean skin on its kickers: The Chinese national players should have their tattoos removed, according to the government’s will.

In addition, players are now “strictly forbidden” from getting new tattoos.

The restrictions were issued by the sports authority.
