Carrie Bradshaw and her friends from Sex and the City are back. They have all gotten older – including in the series.
In January, HBO Max announced the new edition of the cult series about New York women and their love adventures – with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis as leading actresses and executive producers on board.
Of the original female cast, only Kim Cattrall is missing in the role of self-confident and sex-addicted Samantha Jones. Cattrall has fallen out badly with the other “SATC” stars.
Sarah Jessica Parker plays relationship columnist Carrie Bradshaw again, Kristin Davis plays Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon plays lawyer Miranda Hobbes. The revival is supposed to shed light on the lives of the three friends over 50. Ten half-hour episodes are planned.
Of course Mister Big was there too
“How could we ever do a new chapter in the Sex and the City story without our Mr. Big?” Said producer Michael Patrick King, according to the announcement. As Mr. Big, Noth embodied the great love of Carrie Bradshaw in the original (from 1998 to 2004), with many ups and downs. He also took on this role in the two films for the series (2008 and 2010). Noth is also known for the series “Criminal Intent”, “Good Wife” and “The Equalizer”.
