President Volodymyr Zelenskyj should not even be allowed to speak in the Austrian Parliament via video because the FPÖ was in conflict. Instead, the President of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefantschuk, came to Vienna in imposing size, just as he had been to the EU Parliament in Strasbourg last week – there in olive-green army gear, here in a suit and tie. In both cases, his message was clear and unambiguous: Ukraine is defending not only itself, but all of civilized Europe from Russian imperialist attacks.
