Bucks and Warriors qualified for the 2nd round

The Bucks outscored Chicago 116-100 to win the series 4-1. Golden State also went over the shoulder in five games against Denver.

The absence of Khris Middleton, hit in the knee during Act II, will not have finally disturbed the Bucks. Milwaukee won the next three games by an average margin of 23.3 points over the Bulls. His superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo held his rank perfectly on Wednesday, compiling 33 points and 9 rebounds.

Seeded No. 3 in the East, the Bucks will therefore challenge Boston (No. 2) in the next round. The other Eastern Conference semifinal will pit No. 1 Miami, which ousted Clint Capela’s Hawks in five games, against the Philadelphia-Toronto series winner.

The Warriors are the first team to qualify for the second round in the West. Golden State won 102-98 against Denver on Wednesday thanks in particular to 30 points from Stephen Curry. The MVP of the 2020/21 season Nikola Jokic has however released the big game in the camp of the Nuggets, accumulating 30 points, 19 rebounds and 8 assists.
