The International Judo Federation (IJF) before the start of the Grand Slam tournament in Mongolia asked the coaches to be more restrained in relation to Russian athletes.

This was reported by Match TV, citing a source familiar with the situation.

According to the source, before the start of the first day of the competition, the IJF asked the coaches of the national teams, including the Russian one, to avoid provocations towards each other.

The Russians are in Ulaanbaatar in a neutral status.

The Judo Federation of Ukraine announced its refusal to participate in all tournaments due to the admission of Russians
