Basketball: Decisive Antetokounmpo with the Bucks, Curry qualifies the Warriors


Winning their series in five games, Milwaukee and Golden State climbed without difficulty to the second round of the NBA play-offs.

Author of 33 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo was the executioner of the Bulls.


Milwaukee and Golden State qualified for the next round of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday, both winning their first-round series by four wins to one.

The Milwaukee Bucks, defending champions, dominated Chicago (116-100) at home thanks to 33 points from their Greek giant Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Golden State Warriors for their part beat Denver (102-98), also carried by their leader Stephen Curry, author of 30 points in front of his audience.

In the conference semi-finals, Milwaukee will face the Boston Celtics who swept the Brooklyn Nets (4 wins to 0) in the first round of the play-offs.

Golden State will challenge the winner of the series between Memphis and Minnesota, in which the Grizzlies currently lead three wins to two.
