Frenchman Quentin Halys qualified for the rest of the Miami Masters 1000 on Thursday night after his straight-set 6-2/7-6 victory over Spanish player Pedro Martinez. Halys did the job and reached the second round with a big challenge awaiting him against the Australian Alex De Minaur currently 18th player in the world.
