On Saturday, July 17, Spanish theater and film actress Pilar Bardem died in Madrid at the age of 83.

“We want to share the news that our mother, our example, has died. We know with what love and admiration many people in Spain and abroad treated … her fighting nature, ”the publication quotes the statement of brother and sister Javier, Carlos and Monica Bardem.
The relatives of the actress noted that she passed away without suffering and surrounded by loved ones.
Pilar Bardem has worked in the creative industry for almost 50 years. During this time, she has appeared in over 80 films, 43 plays and 31 television series and won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in No One Tells About Us When We Die.
Her children also dedicated themselves to acting: Javier Bardem won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in No Country for Old Men (2007).
