Former player of the Russian national team and Zenit Andrei Arshavin on the air of the All for the Match! on the Match TV channel suggested that Spartak would win the Russian Cup this season.
The Red-Whites will play Enisey at home in the Cup semi-finals on May 11. In the other semi-final, Dynamo will host Alania on May 10 at home. The Russian Cup final is scheduled for May 29. Spartak is in 10th place in the RPL standings.
“Spartak is low in the championship for its ambitions, in the Russian Cup there is a good chance, most likely they will meet with Dynamo and win, one way or another, the fans will be happy,” said Arshavin.
