The covid-19 pandemic continues and even the authorities indicated that the country registers four weeks with an increase in infections.
During this third wave, as the authorities call it, the number of people hospitalized and deaths has been reduced, according to the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell.

How is the covid traffic light in Mexico?
According to federal authorities, 19 entities have a green traffic light, eight are yellow, five are orange and none are red from July 5 to 18.
The states with an orange traffic light are: Baja California Sur, Tamaulipas, Tabasco, Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
The yellow traffic light is in force in: Sinaloa, Sonora, Chihuahua, Nuevo León, Colima, CDMX, Veracruz and Campeche, while the rest of the entities are green.
Health measures in nearby destinations
Despite the fact that Guerrero is on a green traffic light, the local authorities do have active sanitary measures and they apply in Acapulco or Ixtapa, for example.
The Official Newspaper details that hotels may have a maximum capacity of 60%, as well as beaches, spas, nautical services, water sports and public pools.
During the start of the 2021 summer holidays, nightclubs, bars, event rooms in open spaces or outdoors will be able to operate at half their capacity. “Service behind closed doors or down the curtain is prohibited. Failure to comply with this provision will be grounds for immediate closure ”.
In addition, it is prohibited to enter or sell food and drinks in beach areas. These measures are active until July 18, at least.

In case you plan to travel to Puebla, we tell you that the local authorities reported an upturn in the number of infections.
The capital is the center of the rebound, since it concentrates 71% of infections in the entity.
For this reason, as of this July 14 and for an indefinite period, the maximum capacity allowed in economic activities is 30%.
This applies to restaurants and cafeterias, meeting rooms for social events, professional sporting events, bowling alleys, fairs and rides, fast food areas in shopping malls, cinemas, spas.
The economic activities that remain prohibited are: patron saint festivities, mass events, billiards and closed places for recreation, bars, snack bars and canteens.

Tamaulipas is also on an orange traffic light during the start of the 2021 summer holidays and for that reason it was decided to close bars and allow a maximum capacity of 60% in hotels and accommodation services, reports Excelsior.

State authorities reported a 20% increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last week; however, they remain at a green light.
According to the notices of the state government, it will be until this Friday, July 16, when the update of the epidemiological traffic light in the entity is announced.

Baja California Sur
Recently, an increase in the number of confirmed cases was detected, which is why sanitary measures have been tightened.
