The new generation of Volkswagen Amarok It will be presented worldwide as a 2023 model, on July 7. But the brand has a new preview, where it shows the new lighting technology LED Matrix which will include the pick-up.
The system is called IQ.Light and it will be an exclusive equipment feature of the more expensive versions. It had already been announced before that there will be five versions available in this new cycle: Base, Life, Style, Pan American and Adventure.
While the novelty will reach other continents, Volkswagen announced that in Latin America the first generation of Amarok will continue selling for 10 years. Its production will remain in the Argentine factory, with some updates.
Innovations in Volkswagen Amarok 2023
Just as we said, in a nuevo teaser it was announced that Volkswagen Amarok 2023 will be equipped with IQ.Light headlights with Matrix LED technology, which compared to ordinary lights has a lighting capacity much older.
Although this new system will only count for the more equipped versions of the new range of the pick-up, in the entry models the lights will also be LED but without this new technology. Aesthetically the light signature has a striking and more modern design.
The IQ.Light system generates around 900 lumines (twice as usual), works in conjunction with the assist system to driving and adapts to road conditions to offer the ideal lighting that the pick-up needs in each case.
The new generation of Volkswagen Amarok will be built on the same platform as Ford Ranger, from a collaboration between both manufacturers. Technological and mechanical elements in common, but the 100% German design.
