Amazfit has unveiled the third generation of its smartwatches: GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3, which also welcome the renewed logo of the brand inspired by the slogan “Up your game” and inclined to inclusiveness, explained the CEO of Amazfit Huang Wang.
Zepp OS, fast and consumes less battery
The three smartwatches are driven by the new Zepp OS operating system which was designed with the purpose of optimize wearables performance and be low in energy consumption.
A lightness that allows it to be managed by Android and iOS and to connect to the most popular wellness platforms such as Apple Health and Google Fit, and to synchronize sports data with Strava, Relive, Runkeeper and TrainingPeaks.
The agility of Zepp OS can also be seen in the “4-in-1 health measurement”, or the possibility of test four parameters related to your fitness in 45 seconds with a single touch: heart rate, blood oxygen, stress level and respiratory rate.
Here I’m heart rate monitoring throughout the day, even if you are in the water, with alerts for abnormal heart rates and frequency range control to better calibrate workouts.
As a compendium of personal health and wellness, Zepp OS will display a Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI) score that converts the fitness data collected in the last seven days to a single value.
Not missing sleep monitoring with breathing quality verification and rest data control directly on the watch screen. Also present is the control of the menstrual cycle.
Voice control is delegated to the Alexa assistant, which can also work offline to start Sport mode or a health monitoring function. Zepp OS can manage the internal GPS of smartwatches that have one.

GTR 3 is aluminum alloy with rimless design and rotating crown that fits the circular shape of the watch. The screen is a 1.39 “HD AMOLED and the battery that powers the device is 450 mAh, for which it is promised autonomy up to 21 days.
