The Amazfit GTS 3 is a great option within the brand’s new series of wearables. A model that stands out for its elegant design with which it seeks to snatch sales from the Apple Watch by offering very similar lines, but with much lower functionality and cost.

Its body is made of aluminum with a 42 x 36mm square dial. Despite being large, it is light, only weighs 24.4 gramsand its dial is only 8.8 mm thick.

On its dial we find an elegant 1.75-inch 341 ppi ultra HD circular AMOLED display, this model offers high-resolution image display and a very easy-to-use interface. Furthermore, the watch has an impressive 72% screen-to-body ratio.

Thanks to its automatic brightness of up to 1000 nits and its high resolution, we can view the content without problems. His tactical response is really sensitive, and complements the classic navigation crown that allows us to move through its menus without problems.

One of the strengths that Amazfit has put its efforts into throughout the GTR/S 3 range is that it offers 150+ built-in sport modes. In addition, it is capable of detecting if we have started to exercise thanks to its intelligent recognition function, although at the moment this function only detects 8 basic sports such as walking or running.

On the right side of the dial, apart from the rotating crown, we have a second button whose function we can customize but that from the factory allows us to quickly access sports modes.

One of the strengths that Amazfit has put its efforts into this model is that it offers 150+ built-in sport modes. In addition, it is capable of detecting if we have started to exercise thanks to its intelligent recognition function, although at the moment this function only detects 8 basic sports such as walking or running.

If what you want is a smart watch that allows you to control your health, the GTS 3 also adapts to your needs. This smartwatch allows you to monitor your health 24 hours a day thanks to its sensor BioTracker 3.0 located at the bottom.

This new sensor has improved the collection and processing of data. It is capable of measuring heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level and respiratory rate. In addition, it is capable of doing everything automatically and in real time, although this means consuming more battery.

Compared to the GTR and GTS 3, the Pro model has greater autonomy thanks to its battery of 250 mAhwhich provides up to 12 days duration with a single charge through its magnetic connector. But if we have the monitoring of stress, blood oxygen and pulse activated continuously, this is reduced to around 6 days.

This autonomy is especially reduced as soon as we activate geolocation. The GTS 3 has a more precise geolocation than the previous generations, but it does not reach the level of the GTR 3 Pro, and in some cases it can cause a failure.

As for the operating system Zepp OS. A system with an interface similar to the rest of the brand’s models but which is now more intuitive and visual. It’s close to WearOS but it’s still too basic and we cannot use as many applications as those watches with a Google operating system.

This is an important but to take into account since, despite the fact that from the application of our smartphone we can install third party applications from your storeit only has at the moment 10 not very useful apps.

This watch has practically everything you need within the range. However, Amazfit continues to sin in not have NFC connectivity to make our payments. A feature for now non-existent in any model of the brand.
