Age of Empires 4 Coming to Xbox Series X | S and One? Check a clue from the Microsoft Store –

A clue recently discovered in the Microsoft store further strengthens the hypothesis of the arrival of one Xbox Series X | S and One version from Age of Empires 4 soon. Specifically, the game purchase page now includes a reference to console multiplayer.

As reported by Exputer, the page dedicated to the PC version of Age of Empires 4 in the Microsoft Store reports the phrase: “Online multiplayer on console requires Xbox membership (sold separately)“. This wording, absent until a few days ago, in practice would therefore seem to confirm the existence of a console version. All that remains is to wait for official news from Microsoft.

A few days before the release of Age of Empires 4, World’s Edge’s Adam Isgreen confirmed Microsoft’s interest in making an Xbox port of the strategic, with developers starting to work on it after managing the launch on PC. After January, codes were found on the Xbox Store that suggested the start of internal tests for a console version.

Meanwhile, Season 1 of Age of Empires 4 has begun which introduced Ranked Matches, a map editor, limited-time events and much more.
