After Matchday 24 vs Betis: Player of the Match?

Opinion poll

A 0-0 of the better kind! Lots of fighting, some chances but no goals – and another blunder from Real Madrid. The Betis defense could not be cracked for the Blancos either, although they seemed to be in a better mood than they were last against Barcelona (0: 1). Nevertheless, you only take one point instead of three from Seville.

It could not even have been a point, but Thibaut Courtois had to make two important interventions. The Belgian is up for pick for the Player of the Match award, but both Éder Militão and Antonio Rüdiger have (once again) put in strong and near flawless games. Bitter: Rüdiger prevented Karim Benzema’s free-kick by hand… There was a lack of penetrating power in attack, but Rodrygo Goes’ start XI made the game seem livelier than it had been before – even if the Brazilian was just as unlucky as his team-mates.
